You know what moving means to me? Basically that I get to spend a ton of time behind the wheel of a U haul. This time wasn't quite as bad as when we moved down here. That was an terrifying adventure where we rented the biggest truck they had, which had me riding at the same height as truckers. Nothing like crossing the Mojave desert with everything you own in the back of truck and having a gust of wind catch the truck and push you onto the shoulder at 55mph! That even got Wilson's heart racing.
Since we only moved 5 miles south, we just rented the 17 foot truck for the day, took 3 trips, drove 54 miles total in it, and paid about 80 bucks. All in all, it was quite easy. If you are ever looking for an easy deal and you're not moving far, U haul's daily rental is definitely a good choice!
